Description: This Chardonnay has a beautiful, young yellow colour with golden hints. Exuberant and complex, this wine conveys refreshing citrus aromas, fruity notes of white peaches, along with mineral hints. In mouth complex fruity flavours mingle in with lovely mineral notes. A young and fresh wine, very balanced, with a great acidity. A sure bet for almost all naturally oily and/or white meats: duck, pork, lamb, salmon; the simpler their cooking, the better. When it comes to pasta, Chardonnay likes creamy sauces, and/or with seafood. This is a well-liked aperitif wine, either on its own or with a cheese plate. A few suggestions to enjoy are pâté mousse with bacon and nuts, pork fillet with toasted almonds, and marinated shrimps.
From one of the most innovative wineries in Chile this unoaked style of Chardonnay is refreshingly dry and round with immediate upfront tropical fruit flavours of peaches and pineapples. Good lingering finish.
Taste: It is both pleasantly fresh and fruit with a soft and refreshing palate that is balanced and slightly sweet.
Crisp and fruity whites are dry, medium-dry or medium-sweet. They are typically crisply acidic, which balances their rich fruitiness. You can discern yellow plum, apple and peach notes in these wines. Crisp acids create a fresh finish, making these wines ideal for a variety of foods.
Food Pairings: This is best served with fish and mild seafood. Also an excellent match for savoury starters and pasta. Try with different kinds of tapas or antipasti, shrimp salad or sushi.
Serve: White wines are best served chilled, at 10–12°C. Chilling a bottle from room temperature to the perfect serving temperature takes about two hours in a fridge. The sweeter the wine, the cooler it can be served.
